Great international educators effectively engage in leading learning that connects with students, colleagues and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our complex, interconnected, and interdependent world requires us to be adaptable and flexible, to navigate different educational systems, languages, and teaching methods.
We will explore how successful international educators employ teaching strategies that intentionally include the cultural backgrounds of all their students. They incorporate culturally relevant examples, materials, and activities into their lessons to engage and inspire students to become responsible global citizens who are aware of global issues and actively work towards positive change.
